Are there any other regular Nashville DBA events that are announced in advance so out-of-towners can plan to attend? |

We put it to the vote a while back and the membership wanted to keep it on memorial day. Personally I like having it on an extended weekend. There are pros and cons for those driving in from out of town, but understand that it does create a problem for folks who do the family thing on those weekends.

I just got a photo of the prize army for the DBA open tournament Saturday night at Nashcon. Mr. Paul Potter has outdone himself and has painted up an Essex 15mm Eastern late Roman army which was generously provided by Baxter Key at Wargames Inc. The 1st place tournament winner will walk home with this excellent prize. There will also be other unpainted prize armies from Splintered Light and Wargames Inc to entice players into the tournaments.
Thanks again to Paul Potter for painting this wonderful army! ![]() Good luck to you all, David |

Excellent work by Mr. Potter!
I'm really looking forward to the tournament and seeing all the different armies. |

Does anyone know when the DBA Punic Wars mini-tourney is going to start on Saturday morning?
