Default Players near KS City

I am getting ready to move to KS next summer. I was wondering if anyone knows any players close by? Please give me a buzz if you do.

There are a handful of players. Myself and a couple of others play at my house every other Monday night in Lee's Summit. One of the guys, Steve Gross, has a large collection of armies so we can play a lot of different match ups. Steve and I run a tournament twice a year at the local con, "Recruits". There is also an active group in Des Moines and we try to get to their tournament once a year. There is another active group in Omaha and they come to town to play in our tournaments. There is some guys who play at a local hobby shop in Overland park but they don't have a schedule as far as I can determine. You can email me off list at mdsand@yahoo.com.

Default DBA in KS City

Hi Jeff I am glad to see you are coming our way in the nest year. As Mike said we have a small but active group of DBA folks in the area. We run DBA tournaments at Spring Recruits and Fall Recruits. In the past we have drawn as my as 16 players to our tournaments. There are also active DBA players in Omaha and Des Moines who make it down to Recruits for the tournaments. I currently have thirty odd 15 mm DBA armies. Most are Book 2 as I am a Roman military history fan. I do have several armies from Book 1, 3 and 4 so there should be enough to give your armies I have seem listed on your blog site a battle or two. I look foward to crossing swords with you when to get in the area.

Very awesome, thank you. I will get more specifics as I get closer to arriving. What months is the local "recruits"?

Thank you as well. I am up to about 23 armies now and should be around 30 when I get there if my painting bug kicks in again. Looking forward to meeting with you all and getting in some more games.
