Which Falcon? Both are exhibitors at Historicon 2008.

Falcon Figures UK was bought by Kai Weaver of the Quartermaster, who operates out of Hampton, Virginia. He used to have a website for ordering that was poorly supported and seems to have let it expire. I know folks have tried to contact him by various means with mixed success, but I believe he is still in business. Here is his listing from the Historicon Vendor program:

The Quartermaster
Booth: 29 POC: Kai Weaver
137 Lynnhaven Dr, Hampton, VA 23666
(757) 838-3537 falconfiguresuk@yahoo.com
Products: Falcon Figures UK, Copperfield Minis, Falcon
resins, Falcon affordable armored vehicles, Outland games
15mm minis, Renaissance Ink, JR Miniature bldgs.

and Falcon Miniatures, which has also let its website expire.

Falcon Miniatures
Booth: 65 POC: Keith Astrofsky
31 Whittier Ave, Waltham, MA 02451
(781) 790-1659 kastrofsky@yahoo.com
Products: Falcon (25mm Colonial Africa, SYW, AWI)
(1/300 Battle Britain Aircraft), Jihad (28mm Ultra-Modern).

Red face

back in the 1980s and 1990s, we referred to them as Falcon USA out of Mass and Falcon UK which was bought by Kai after he had bought Quartermaster from the Canadian Importer of Falcon UK.

Falcon Uk 15mm ancient ranges are more extensive than Falcon USSA which had some Punic War 15mm,

Kai prefers musket era subjects so he has not expanded the pre-musket ancient-med series other than the Three Kingdom Koreans which I sponsored.

Can anyone confirm whether Falcon Uk is still operating? I would love to order about twenty packs from the Nordic Bronze Age range, including that sacred cauldron!

I sent an e-mail to the Falcon UK address today and got an immediate response saying they were manufacturing again and would be reopening the website soon. So that sounds like a good sign. I hope so. I am d-y-i-n-g to get my hands on a couple HOTT armies worth of Falcon Nordic Bronze Age. They are so awesome and no one else makes anything quite like that in 15mm. Foundry has a similar 28mm range but I just can't justify the horrible blow to my wallet, especially given my meager painting skills.

EDIT: I just found a new website for Falcon UK!

http://www.falconfiguresuk.com/index.html

Only a few of the products are listed so far, but an opening date of July 31 is given. I want some of those civilians!

Nice to see they are re-opening. Plus the new website has pictures! The civilian range has some nice stuff in it.

Cool

Thanks for the link Blackadder. it looks like he has a lot of work to do to just get all the 15mm listed on the sight, not counting the 25mm and 54mm.

He might need Historicon for a break!!
