This website is VERY nice, but is there another website that has "official" rules expansions, clarifications, or faqs for DBA/DBM? If so, please post the link.

There are no "offical" rules expansions or variants for DBA. The rules author, Phil Barker, does not believe in them.
Fanaticus is the best source for FAQs and commentary on the rules. It links to all the resources such as Bob Beattie's commentaries, that have been developed, including any rules interpretations that have been okayed by Barker. As for DBM, I would refer you to Richard Bodley-Scott's website (see http://fanaticus.org/DBA/gamers.html for a link.

See here for some explanations
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~beatt.../bobcmts3.html These are "official" for the North American Society of Ancient and Medieval Wargamers (NASAMW). Not from the authors or their publisher - Wargames Research Group. NASAMW runs tournaments at many conventions in the USA. |

So the DBx community just makes their own clarifications and continues to "game on"...do you come up with the "official" NASAMW rules via discussion on this website, or is it just up to a couple of people in charge of the NASAMW who make the decisions? Like most gamers, I'd like to put in my $0.02 as well! Thanks for the info. Blackcompany |

This is not the same as corrections and clarifications. Phil does these at a reasonable (IMO) rate, though it can be hard to convince him that it needs to be done for a specific item. And occasionally, the cure turns out to be worse than the disease Greetings Karl Heinz |

Since you live in the Twin Cities, you live in one of the hot beds of house rules. What you do in a tournament is up to you.... Otherwise, got a problem? Trot out a fix and we'll give it a shot.
