Hello, all! We had a great turnout this weekend for ThingsBand '08! at the Warband gathering. Just wanted to pass along the final results and the new location of the web page (which is now up.)

Yes, it was a fun afternoon of HOTT, as usual, at Warband...er, Thingband! Thanks for running it, Zeke. My Dogs of War did fairly well again, losing only one game (my dice needed to have their noses rubbed in their "mistake" after that game..."Bad dog! Bad dog!"). I think I got in fewer games because a spear battleline is naturally going to be slower in finishing than some of the other styles of armies. Either that, or I was channeling Eric...ha, ha!

I highly encourage everyone to attend the 15mm HOTT Tournament at Origins. There is no greater gathering of HOTT players on the continent, IMO...we're averaging around 20 players!

Yes, although I wasn't sure on the date so I don't have it on my calendar.

Should have painted prizes as well, since I'll have the Lizardmen on the bench for the Origins give-away.

Shoot me an email if you are interested in a little painted prize support for HOTT from SLM. I am planning to do a painted Saxon army for the DBA tourney and since I am painting up sample armies to photograph for the HOTT army packs I am doing, it would not be hard to send one of those your way.
