Since I have been asked twice, I will post more details:

Gaming will start at 1000. Planning 3 rounds of 2-2.5 hours each.

Food will be provided on site so no extended meal break should be necessary.

Assuming enough entrants; there will be early and late bracketts, however last year's "late" brackett started with my Ancient Spanish. So don't come with a Book II army confident of sweeping the early brackett: .

Aren't you scheduled for some reconstructive surgery on your painting hand in Columbus that weekend?

How long (timewise) is the drive from Cleveland to the tournament site? I will be in Cleveland, OH for that weekend.

Cleveland is about an hour and a half to Columbus. The tourney is on the east side of Columbus, so it might be a safer bet to say 2 hours...

It would be awesome if you could make it down...sounds like we're going to have a pretty good turnout, at least among the locals...!

So, anybody have any thoughts on what army they're bringing? I'm leaning towards Ancient British using my Pictish figs (an army of warband and cav will be much more interesting than one with mostly spear). So, you can bet I'm hoping we have enough for brackets...keep those nasty knights at a distance!!!

Anybody who needs loaner figs or an army, let us know: We have plenty!!!

I've got dibs on John's Teutonics. I did pretty well with them last year & I'm hoping I can do even better this year!

Thanks for the information Mike. I'll have to start negotiating with my wife and daughter to take the car for the day. Perhaps they want to visit Columbus and pick me up afterwards. If I can make it, I will be bringing the only BBDBA army that I have: Picts. I have also never played BBDBA, but this is a fast way to learn.

Talking Loaners

I have a number of loaner armies available; since Big Battle is my favorite.

First come, first serve on borrowing.

Teut's reserved for Jenny.

I will play a lesser competitive army since it's my tourney:

Right now leaning towards Medieval Irish or Scots Common unless some one wants to borrow them

My Ancient Spanish did really well last year, 2-1. Of course it helped winning the terrain roll every game
