I see that Brookhurst Hobbies in California is having trouble getting Two Dragons backorders... are they having problems in the UK as well? I was thinking of using Two Dragons to build something Norman-ish in the near future, if they are still around ... I hear they are highly recommended.
Any news? Should I order straight from the UK - Caliver Books, maybe?

I would try Brookhurst first. I order at least twice the amount that I need (as a store) when I order (Two Dragons or Xyston). I do not do the backorder but just have them zero out the N/A which prevents later surprises.

Larry has always been easy to work with and his prices may be considered high on the Two Dragon but considering overseas shipping, they are OK.
In regards to Cavalier, the designer of a Thirty years War set of rules in your area has a problem with him but I have not had any dealings with him. So I cannot give you a plus or minus on their service.

In Two Dragon, I have DBM arnies of Japanese, Russians and Vikings but I have not tried their Normans. The Old Glory and Essex ones are fine .If the Normans are compariable to the others then they should suit your purpose.

Ares, I received notice from Brookhurst that they are having the trouble with getting Two Dragon that you mentioned. I have also seen a notice on the Miniatures page stating that they are now back in production, so maybe Brookhurst will be able to get them again.

My last order had mainly various packs of Dark Age Peasants only in the box with the Xyston.

Hullo
Two Dragons are very nice. Unfortunately they are only intermittently available and do not mix well with the figures of other manufacturer's.
I have had good service from Caliver Books over many years.
Kind Regards
Derek

Caliver was unable to fill my order...after a long wait...one in which I THOUGHT I was awaiting arrival of figures....I wrote to Caliver and only THEN did they tell me they couldn't get Two Dragons.

That was my second disappointing try with Caliver
