Question

Alright, I have the math worked out.

Is there a listing somewhere of who beats who?

Meaning something like:

Knights:
Defeated: Killed by X, Kills Y
Doubled: Killed by X, Kills Y, Flees Z

I know it is all listed in the pop up box, but referring to that is a bit too late sometimes.

And I know I can manually write it all, and will, if there is no already available resource.

Thanks

Try going to the DBA Yahoo group page and look in the file section. You will have to join the group to access the files but you will find what you need there. Its right here:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DBA/

This is a great group to belong to if you want to know more about the game and who is playing.

Sincerely,

Trey

The table would also need to distinguish between cases where the target is in GGo or BGo.

As for doubled units, the only ones you need to worry about are those that flee if doubled. All the rest are destroyed.

It's probably not a bad idea to do the table yourself. The simple process of doing that will help you to remember them more easily.

Off the top of my head though, the "quick-kills" are:

SCh/SC are quick-killed by all, even if combat result it tied. In return, they quick-kill most units but not Cv, LH; Aux or Ps
Art is destroyed by all.

Kn: on Bd, Sp, Pk, Wb, Aux, Ps, Bw/Lb/Cb (all in GGo only)
Cv: on Ps (in GGo)
LH: on El, Kn
Art: on El, WWg
Wb: on Bd, Sp (perhaps Pk)
Aux: El
Ps: El

Thanks for the information. I was all set to make the notes myself, but then decided I didn't need to reinvent the spear if it was already done.

If I am no wrong I would do the following correction :

Kn is destroyed by all in BGo

Kn: on Bd, Sp, Pk, Wb, Aux, Ps, Bw/Lb/Cb (all in GGo only)
Cv: on Ps (in GGo)
LH: on El, Kn
Art: on El, WWg
Wb: on Bd, Sp, Pk
Aux: El
Ps: El

Bw : on Kn if those made contact this round
Sch are not killed on a tied result. Wb on Pk
Added Bw and Kn in Bgo

Question

If the bow moved into contact with the Kn this round does that still count. I read it as the Kn moving into contact with the Bow.

It's either of them moving and it is the first contact that counts then?

Bw are always QK by Kn (in GGo ? the rules don't say but I never saw this happen in BGo)

Kn are Qk by Bw on first contact only, and only if they did the contact themselves. Not if the Bw made the charge.

I am only 90% sure. Kn and Bw contact are rare.

That little program looks quite good.

Just to clarify a few things, I think Bw units are killed by ALL mounted units if defeated (whether or not they are in BGo)

The Bw quick-kill on Kn is only given in a bound in which the Kn charge the Bw. After a stay, the Bw must double the Kn to get a kill. What's more, if a Kn follows through a combat and ends in close combat with a Bw, the Bw does not get the quick-kill in the subsequent, and unavoidable, combat on the next bound.
