Emperor info:

For Emperor this year, I'm stealing a theme from one of our Crossroads Pyramid events:

The Viking Tour of the North Atlantic

NO this will not be a pyramid event (takes too long).

Eligible Armies:
II/54b Scots-Irish,
II/68b Pictish,
II/81d Sub-Roman British,
III/1ac Early Slav,
III/18 Breton,
III/19abc Welsh,
III/24b Middle Anglo-Saxons,
III/28 Carolingian Frankish,
III/34b Andalusian,
III/40abcd Viking,
III/45ab Pre-Feudal Scots,
III/46 Norse Irish,
III/51 W. Frankish or Norman,
III/52 E. Frankish,
III/71 Anglo-Danish,
III/77 Scots Isles & Highlands,
III/78 Early Russian,
IV/9 Eastern Forest American,
IV/13ab Medieval German,
IV/16 Scots Common,
IV/27 Estonian,
IV/28 Prussian

In order to make the Vikings (and others) a little more competitive, we will be using the "impetuous cavalry"
rule as follows:

Non-general Knight elements use the Impetuous Cavalry Rule.
Impetuous Cavalry behave in all ways as Knights, but do not quick kill as Knights.
So move = 3"; Combat factors are +3/+4; they are impetuous; they are quick-killed by Lh and bow
at first contact, but they do not themselves quick kill others.
Knight Generals behave in all ways as normal knights (with a general bonus).

Normal Cavalry behave in all ways as Cavalry.

Rich,

Are there lists of eligible armies for these events?

Thanks,
Alan

Most army list will be pretty lenient to encourage more entries:

Armies eligible for Medieval Mayhem should be Western European types from 1066 to 1487.

Armies and Enemies of Greece and Rome are any army listed as an enemy of any Greek and Roman army of the time period or any Greek or Roman army.

Sorry I'm late posting.

Pictures from the event can be found here...

For best viewing, hit "slideshow" then "show info" for commentary.

I had a great time there, and want to thank all who participated...good group of players!

Armies and Enemies of Greece and Rome...(6 entries) won by Chuck Speer with Ancient British
Medieval Mayhem (4 entries) won by Vince Maloney with Free Company
Open Event (4 entries) won by Robert Lohman with Greco-Bactrians
Emperor of the Great Lakes (8 entries) won by Robert Lohman with III/40d Leidang

Three of the winners borrowed armies from me, so that says that my little guys usually don't cooperate for me!
