I was thinking Sarmation knights, because in the movie just seven of them defeated an entire Saxon army. I could never get them painted in time anyway. sigh

Thanks for the list, Paul. I am guessing David will be the Picts, Terry the Sub-Roman Brits, Paul as well. I can field the Brits, too, but might play the Anglo-Saxons just to add a little variety. Ed might feel the tug of his heart strings and field a Scots-Irish contingent. Anyone up for the Welsh?

Yes David, I am a big weenie, that is why I played a dismountable army two years in a row in the open DBA tourney. Still managed to lose your Samurai, anyway.

Just reserved a room for Nashcon and I'm excited about my first ever DBA tournament.

Paul,
I was planning on bringing some Sub-Roman Brits, but I can bring other armies (Pict, Saxon, Welsh) if people want to use them. Or maybe since I'm going to lose anyway I should play the Saxons to provide variety? Do you need loaners or should I leave them at home?

if you are willing please bring loaners, between you and the locals I believe we will have plenty of loaners. -Paul

It looks like Saturday evening is open for the Open Tournament. I will direct it
and even pitch in some prizes.

This would be a four round tourney using the same scoring system we have used in the past. Open means, bring any 2.2 DBA army from any book you want. So, that being said, be prepared to face a succession of dismaountable knight armies. If you want to play one, yourself, I have a couple. Ron

What even is on Friday night? Anything? I can not seem to get a good feel for the scheduled events affiliated with a time.

Thanks

Jeff, it looks like we have more events planned and proposed than we have slots, for. It looks like Friday at 1PM is free play DBA, HoTT, DBN, HiTT, etc.
Friday night looks like a Big Battle 3.0 DBA demo by Thomas. Saturday morning
is Thomas' HoTT game that he put on last year. Saturday at 1PM is the Age of Arthur 2.2 DBA Tourney and Saturday night is possibly Paul's HoTT game
or maybe an Open 2.2 DBA Tourney depending on what everyone wants. I offered to direct an Open 2.2 tourney, but I forgot that Paul was wanting the Saturday evening slot. Either way, I am just happy to get out of the house,
even if I can already see my general getting killed multiple times on a 1-6 roll.
