My kids are totally fascinated with Greek Myth right now so I've been taking the opportunity to gather some Greeks for both historical hoplite armies as well as some more fantastical elements for Greek Myth Hordes of the Things. In addition to enough HOplites for two Early Greek HOplite Armies I've picked up enough Foundry Amazons for an Amazon army and enough Centaurs (from a variety of manufacturers) to make an army of those (based on Skythians).
Here are a few of the elements I've finished up so far... ![]() ![]() The Bronze Bull of King Aeetes... a Behemoth if I ever saw one! ![]() Amazon Priestesses (more pics on the blog) ![]() Amazon Psiloi (or shooters, I guess, in HOTT) Next I should have a few Centaurs... I also have a Hydra and a Chimera not entirely sure what to classify them as...

Nice Bronze Bull!
I've got some Eureka Minis Satyrs and Centaurs in my 28mm Greek Myth army, and I recommend them Very Highly. I've just purchased a Hasselfree "Artemis" in 40mm to be a God (-dess).

Thanks David. I've been eyeing up those very same Eureka and Hasslefree minis for some time.
I'll probably break down and order some of the Eureka centaurs at some point... (I've also been looking at the Black Hat/Shattered Isles Centaurs). Right now I have a pile of satyrs from both Wargames Foundry and Crocodile games... and really... How many satyrs does a guy need!? I don't think I'll ever have an entire army of satyrs... A couple lurkers, sure... Maybe a few shooters... But an entire army!? That would be silly..

It isn't a very powerful army, but the addition of a God should help, as it is a very mobile army.

No, sorry, I haven't been taking many pics the last two or three years. I might be able to take some when I get some free time in May, though.

Some Centaurs...
![]() Obviously they would be “Riders” for Hordes of the Things... or “Light Horse” in DBA – I’ve been thinking of a semi-historical Heroic Greek campaign – using regular DBA army lists – but allowing proxies for certain elements or even entire armies – these for example could be the LH element in a number of armies… perhaps Thessaly or once I have an entire army of them they could be a proxy for Skythians!?

A few more elements:
![]() Amazon Archers from Wargames Foundry ![]() Satyr Archers from Crocodile Games. There's plenty more individually based Greek Mythology Minis on my blog: http://saskminigamer.blogspot.ca/201...d-last-of.html
