Default Short static grass

So I finished my first test base of roman legionnaires in 6mm, got them all based upped, painted the base and was about to put the finishing touches of static grass on it when I thought to myself "6mm long static grass is gonna look kinda funny with 6mm miniatures."

I did a search on google for 1mm static grass and found quite abit, unfortunately it seems it's all in the UK, and I'm not.

Anyone know where I might find some in the US?

Thanks
Ken

I was going to mention that Peter Berry at Baccus sells short "grass" to match his figures, but that's probably not a lot of help to you (unless you are thinking of getting more figures from him).

Before he compiled his Baccus specific basing kit, I used static grass Ihad bought from Games Workshop which seemed to work reasonably well.

Reynaulds in the US:

But German imports are generally cheaper via EuroRail Canada:

Hi Ken

I know it might be a pain in the arse, but I cut my static grass short with a small pair of scissors, ( how sad is that I know) but it dose work if all else fails.
I hope you get sorted Ken.

Adrian.

Thanks for the help.

I took a closer look at some old GW static grass and it's short enough.

I was worried they'd look like they were trudging through jungle. I think the really short stuff would have looked like they were ready to tee off.

Thanks again for the help and links.

Ken
