Default 15mm Copplestone castings

Finally, some barbarian castings that even Crom would be pleased with (begrudgingly):

Ooh, these are cast up now!

I'm envisioning an Early Northern Barbarian Buff Boys army. Copplestone for the Blades. Splintered Light bare chested Picts and Irish for the other ranks. Convert various of the above for chariot crew, perhaps with MY ENB early chariots. Old Glory bare chested Keltic Cavalry.

Hmm...

Yes, a very handsome snake. An essential element for Conans Lotus eating, snake kissing enemies.

So, if we use these figures for Early Northern Barbarians -- of their actual enemy list, the Hittites seem the most likely snake-kissing enemy army. They've got the hats and the robes for the Evil Empire look. Does anyone make Hittite sculpts that would be worthy opponents?
And in this context, the Hittite army list with Ramses' fantasy 3-person heavy chariots would be perfectly appropriate for fighting fantasy Barbarians

On the not-the-usual-suspects enemy list, The Kimmerians should be included as targets for IP infringement. Again, any Kimmerian sculpts that would be worthy opponents?

This is dangerous talk. I have spent to much of my life speculating how to best represent various Hyborian armies. I'm in danger of relapse.

I still have the copy of ' Royal armies of the Hyborian age' that I purchased with newpaper route money in 1976.

Here is an other picture of one of the Copplestone castings- I've painted this guy to be Slaine Mac Roth, I'll put him in an essex fantasy chariot along with Ukko his Dwarf (the skin will be changed from green )and one of the chick figs to be one of his various female consorts:

That dwarf is a nice likeness of Ukko!

But what to use for a fur-clad Subotai?

These are dangerous times.

I've hit the slippery slope hard already. Welsh III/19b. Uppity native rebels with lots of bows and some warband. Genuine enemy of the dastardly English overlords. Splintered Light July sale. Robin Hood.

Essex has a fur clad hun looking fellow holding a small hawk in one of its 15mm fantasy character sets.

Here is Slaine Mac Roth and Ukko in their chariot:
