I jumped to a new thread, but this is a reply to something raised elsewhere:
David K., Have you posted or do you have the OOB and any other scenario rules for the Chalons game? I'd love to see what you do. Are there photos lurking somewhere from earlier versions of the game? Can you guys arrange to move Historicon further West so the travel impaired among us can make it to Mecca before we die? |

You're in Indiana, John -- Lancaster PA ain't so far to travel, for a four-day gaming extravaganza!
I'll try to post it AFTER we run it at H'con (remind me if you would). There are some special double-secret victory conditions for each player that are better if the other players aren't aware of them. We've got some photos from the earlier run somewhere; dunno where. Maybe DS has them? |

All I can say is that 2 of 8 players made their VC in our test game.
That and the game is a blast. Too bad only 8 people get to play. Marty |

Well, the four days is the other half of the problem. Could I introduce you to my wife and three kids?

I do have the photos, perhaps we will actually do up a web page this time - probably after Historicon.

Hi John
H'Con is a great experience. I suspect your family would not begrudge you 3 days away. Take off very early Friday morning, 4-5 am. Get to town in time for late Friday afternoon and evening events. Saturday it is the Duplicate DBA and Chalons. Something interesting in the evening. Sunday morning is the Themes til noon, then a drive home and you are back for sleep and Monday as usual. There might well be a bed available if you ask around. It is just about a straight shot via the TurnPike -- Indiana to Ohio to Penn. Quote:
