Just joined, thank you so much for doing this. I was stunned when Chris announced the impending closure of this site.

I also have signed onto the ProBoards Forum. Imperator, how much data has been collected in the near two decades you have been active? Many might be interested in a disc archive if you were to publish one, perhaps crowd-funded.

Thumbs up

Good news that people are signing up for the new site, the more people that use it, the more likely I think we will maintain continuity and vitality for the DBA community.

if you haven't signed up yet, i would urge you to do so!

Regards,

Simon

I will join as soon as I get some alone time with my personal computer so that I can do the registration process including set up my email.

At work I can't access foreign email addresses (this is how Macbeth was briefly shut out of Fanaticus in 2013 and was replaced by Lulach for 13 posts).

Once done I will probably port across the running commentary on my current campaign (Gift Horses and Lost Arks) even if I have to copy/paste each post.

See you on the other side

Cheers

Yes this sort of idea is what I had in mind although I am more familiar with http://www.forumotion.net

Unfortunately somebody/people are going to need to police the site to prevent it being overwhelmed by spammers.
