Default 15/18mm Xyston Marian Romans

Looks like the start of a new Marian Roman range from Xyston. I am normally a big fan of Xyston, and think their Hoplite era Greeks set the standard for 15mm..but I'm not excited about these Marians. Not sure if its the outsized gladius swords or the strange lay of the helmet plumage. Judge for yourself at: http://www.scotiagrendel.com/Xyston/...e=products_new

Maybe they look better with the shields on?

I have 2 objections to Xyston
  1. wild variance in scale
  2. separate and hard to fix on shields

I'm sticking to the excellent and easy to paint War & Empire range.

Just arrived...actually look good in the 'flesh'. And well sized....not large like the Republican range.
