Hello, long time DBA player here posting about our experience with 3.0.
So after seeing the new verson I hurridly printed it out. My long time opponent had to be clever and bring it on his nook (got to get one of those!).

So two more willing souls made it and we had a BBDBA, West Late Imp. Rome v Goths and German alles. We had made our own measuring sticks ahead of time. Happily there was only one "sword fight" incident

I had to be reminded at least three time about the Ps not suffeing from overlap. I fell right into my old pick off the Ps and the three Ps on the good going hill held off the three Lh and one Cav. The rest of the battle was a slug fest. At first I thought the Germans were going to break when we got em down three stands fast. Buuuut not to be, the Roman left then center broke. made the center weak with 6 Bd stds and added numbers to the wings, but that didnt work so good.

Next game needs more Spear and Bow to explore the changes.
