Granddaughter sees her first minis
My six year old granddaughter has been staying with us whiler her mom is being treated with radioactive idodine. Because I have a habit of using pins (sharp points) for spears and for some other reasons, I put my minis away in the room we jokingly refer to as my office, where not only my wargame stuff but my books and just general household junk winds up for storage. Her grandmother, while I was away at work, had to go in the room for some reason and the six year old followed her in. Well, this morning before I left the house, she pleaded with me to show her some of the minis and tell her about them, so I did, including some of my scratch-built and scratch-building terrain. She got very excited. She wants me to give her a shot at trying to paint one of those little cardboard houses (basis for a Celtic Round House). I have several extra ready to go, so I guess this weekend I will let her have a go at one. So what is next?
