Thanks for the kind words. I have 36 elements of Ottomans arriving next week which will serve as opponents for the Wallachians and Hungarians.

These will most likely be the last Medieval army for 2012. The holiday vacation will offer time to finally start the campaign and plan for new armies for 2013.

On my current list of projects is to photograph all the participating armies and post them to the Gallery at the blog.

The Ottomans have arrived, so I will start cleaning and priming them tomorrow.

In the meantime, I have added a new topic to the Storm Within the Empire blog; "Disease in Medieval Times".

In this period when sanitation was poor, malnutrician rife and lands were plagued with war, the situation was ripe for contagions and other diseases.

I have added some thoughts as to how this should be treated in a medieval campaign setting and how this should present itself as a result of conditions met and not a simple event card draw.
