Default Essex xmed9

Hi all. Just got some Essex stuff including the xmed9 pack (khazaks - assorted steppe horse archers). Wasn't really sure about ordering them given that I couldn't find any pics or descriptions online and the tendency for Essex to supply packs of identically posed figures. Here's a quick review for anyone that's interested.

I got 4 different figures, 2 with horse & rider as a single casting, 2 with horse and rider separate. 3 with fur hats, shooting, 1 with pointed Mongol style helmet, bow down, raised hand. (Would make a good command figure). Asiatic style dress on all but all dressed differently. 2 in lamellar coats, so very lightly armoured.

These would work as auxiliary Tartar cavalry for any medieval army that used them, Russians, Poles etc. and 3 of the 4 figures could probably even pass for Lithuanians if so desired.

All in all, nice figures and I'm glad I took the chance and ordered them.
