Photo shows the Essex medieval wagon with Legio Heroica figures as possible crew. Although the figures can fit nicely within the wagon, the walls would have to be made to give the figures protection.

Photo two, using a 40 x 20 base you have an approximate idea of how large the side plating should be. Looking at Vodnik's illustration, the Essex model would require a panel for one side and a gangway for entrance or exit on the opposite side.

At the moment, the covers are loose, so I may play with the idea to make the wagon protection as insert with overhanging panel. When not in use as a war wagon, the cover can be used to resume its role as baggage.

Finishing the Late Hungarians cavalry are an urgent priority; knights and light horse. Then I can return to solving the war wagon issue.

Gregorius,

Lovely Hussites. Would you say the Evil Gong miniatures are larger than Essex or Old Glory?

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the kind words. The Evil Gong Miniatures make the warwagons and the figures I have used to man them are by Essex. So if you compare the figures with the warwagons you should be able to determine whether the sizing is right for you. I have no Essex or Old Glory wagons to compare to them. The warwagons fit within the 40mm width of a base. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Hi there,

I try to have my figs size up with Essex, Minifigs, Chariot/MM. I'm not sure about OG, I only have a few of their ACW and Naps figs and I guess they are similar, with OG bulkier.

I made up some drivers to go with the WWg, but they otherwise come without crew. The Wwg I based on a Hussite pic.

Regards
