Photobucket is weird, so you will find the pictures ordered from last to first.

Default Nice photos

Xavi,

Photobucket does offer a feature to adjust the order of photos, but I really did not notice that photos must be viewed in any particular order.

I was amazed at all the serious faces of the players, nice boards and armies. Only one player had time to call his girlfriend.

Could you list the armies used in the tournament?

Very nice looking tournament, thanks for sending along the pictures. I like those photographic terrain features in picture number eight. Can you tell us more about who makes those.

Ooh, yes. Brilliant idea. And if those were laminated onto something with just a little contour for 3D shape, that could be quite spectacular!

Hi!

IIRC the terrain pieces are market captions from Age of Empires. The cloth terrain boards certainly are. Terrain is printed and glued to a more durable surface, like cardboard or plastic from a tupperware.

Final rankings:

1º Longbowman (English War pf the roses) ,4 victorias y +5
2º Baltasor (LAP), 3 victorias y +8
3º Minavand (Feudal Spanish), 3 victorias, +3 y 1 general abatido
4º Marechal (post mongol samurai), 3 victorias y +3
5º Prich (Late carthos), 3 victorias, +2 y 2 generales abatidos
6º Xavi Elmoth (Arab conquest (b)), 3 victorias ,+2 y 1 general abatido.
7º Bohemundo (otiental Patsies) 2 victorias, -4 , 2generales abatidos
8º & 9º Galrauch (Dacians) y Logrendil (100YW English) tied at 2 victories and -4. No factors to untie them at all.
10º José Luis (early germans) con 0 victorias y -12.

It was the first tournament ever for Monavand, Galrauch, Logredil and Jose Luis. All all are asking when do we have the next one

Cheers,
Xavi

Nice venue, nice looking games, and a crowd that looks like they're having a good time. Looks like a great event all around.
