Default 20mm Parthians

Does anyone know where I can get 20mm Parthians?

I would like some to face my 20mm Early Imperial Romans who are fed up with the cold and damp of Britannia and the indigenous Celts and would like a posting to warmer climes.

Try Newline miniatures. They have a 20mm Parthian line - few pictures but their 25/8mm scults are very nice. I have their Franks (hairy Volkwanderung) and am very pleased. Their prices are not to be sniffed at. Had a look at the Plastic Soldier site?

And, if you don't mind plastics, check them out at PSR. You will find more than one of 1/72 crowd of companies have dabbled in them. I kind of like the (cheap) HaT variety myself. In U.S. dollars you buy them for about $15 excluding shipping from several different companies.

I have both the Newline and Hat figures - both sets of cavalry figures are almost identical except for the horses. I do like Newline's stuff but the kindest thing I can say about some of their horse figures is well.....they could do much better.

For my money go with the Hat plastics - if only to get a better looking horse.
