Default Big Battle DBN: On To Waterloo!

It's time for the big push, only 28 painting months before 2015!

Fortunately I've already got a lot of the French and Anglo-Allied armies painted, and a token amount (100+) Prussians already done

This past week's painting -- the Guns of August, the next big batch of French artillery and limbers, a mix of MiniFigs and Battle Honors:

One smaller batch of guns and a bigger batch of limbers left to order and paint....

Also gearing up for the great 3rd (and hopefully last) re-basing since starting in Napoleonics way back in the dark grim days of Empire III. Later moved to Napoleon's Battles basing. Now putting my 15mm's on 60mm wide DBN bases for 25mm figs. Grouping 4 bases together for splashy convention/club play.

I don't know about stomachs, but three large armies can definitely march on 11 pounds of Litko bases that just arrived! 2.1 square meters. Well, actually with a fair amount of excess since I rounded each of my calculated number of the 3 base sizes up to the hundred count just to be on the save side. (500) 60x30 for infantry, (200) 60x40 cavalry, (200) 60x60 artillery.

Spray painted the tops to match the burnt wood edges, and gave a light splattering of green for a mottled underbase to the flocking.

Default

The Green Phase continues. Just finished up 9 more Brit Rifles and 24 KGL Light Infantry. Basing will happen a little later when I get the storage system set up for these armies.

And while I'm on a streak with the green spray paints, just primed up the Nassau line and landwehr
