What do you think that the best option could be?

1-all with round shields (Caetra)
2-all with oval shield (scutum)
3- command and cavalry with sword with oval shield, and cavalry with spear with round shield.

Thanks for your help!

Corvus Belli
How Ironic...I just spoke to The guy at "Wargame" here in the US about THIS VERY THING...

Also, about shields for some of the Celtiberians and Iberians with Javelins, because SOME Scutari would have Javelins as well (actually I think that most of them carried Javelins or Pila as well as carrying a sword).

I was going to mix the Shields on the Caetrati and Scutari so that I would have about 50/50 Scutari with Swords/Javelins, and about 25/75 Caetrati with Swords/Javelins.

For the Cavalry... I would go with the Command with the Scutum definitely, and have the Cavalry with swords with oval scutum as well, but leave the Javelin armed cavalry with the round shields.

ALSO... This would be pretty easy to do... It will be my first conversion of Corvus Belli figures (Since you had asked about that the other day in an email)... I plan on removing the swords from about 1/2 of the cavalry that have them and replacing them with long spears. I have seen a lot of talk and illustrations of Iberian Cavalry with long-spears. You may want to think about adding some of these to the Iberian line. They would be a snap to convert and would be a nice addition for all of the people who do not want to have to do the conversion themselves... They should have scutum/oval shields as well...
