BBDBA at cons

In browsing around for how I'm going to spend my limited DBA travel budget this summer, I notice little in the way of BBDBA tournament play.

Nashcon -- which alas I cannot make this year -- has a tournament. It was great fun last year and I expect it will be again this year.

I see lots of BBDBA-ish events, but little open or (heaven-forbid) themed BBDBA tournament action elsewhere.

Is the time issue the big reason for this?
