If that is what you prefer, but you can't make hard cider from turnips.

Paella for me

I just finished three more elements of the Almuhgvars (4Ax) for my Catlan Company army.

I have been using the Eureka Almuhvar figures which have an amazing variety of poses - I have almost no double ups across 6 elements

Cheers

Hi Bob,

Very nice paint and basing job. The trouble with plastics is that they have no heft unless you thicken the walls with foam board or polystyrene. I suppose it is no mystery as to why it is a ruin with such thin walls !!

Cheers,

Default Gangsters and Barbarian Babes

Hi, I haven't posted for a long time, partly because it's been a very long cold and wet winter where I live and I haven't had the intestinal fortitude to paint. But I'm now in the middle of two 28-mm projects, some gangsters of the 1920-30 era, sourced from Copplestone; and some barbarian babes destined for a HOTT army. Most of them are Reaper. The idea came to me when I was buying a few used minis of a friend and, picking up a random near-naked babe, I commented, "there are so many naked barbarian chicks on the market you could probably build a whole army with them."

The gangsters are shaping up OK, I'm not trying to make each one a collectors piece since they are probably going to end up NPCs in a gangster RPG. The babes need a bit more thought since there is so much less clothing.

Default Campaign Map

Hello All,

Here are 2 images of the Kublai Khan campaign map I completed this weekend. It will be used at MOAB in October and cover the period 1279 through to 1285.
