Well, I was a bit slow in getting the photos up -- but here's a big battle report from Havoc: http://fanaticus.org/discussion/showthread.php?t=12991

To add more options to the Punic Wars big battle armies on hand, I picked up one of Peter Wort's painted Gallic armies. This was short 2 warband stands, so I needed to paint those up. Plus I added a second psiloi stand for various Celto-German morphs.
For the warband I took the extra Old Glory Oscan Javelinmen left over from the morphing Italian army, deplumed their helmets and carved some of the javelins down into swords. The slingers are Old Glory Numidians with some northern hair colouring and jeggings painted on. It's always a fun challenge stirring up a recipe to match somebody else's basing materials. The static grass I have on hand is a different shade than Peter's, but matches well enough. I also sprinkled a few bits of my tealeaf ground scatter on all the bases to tie the lot together. Just did some minor touch up work on his fantastic painting -- drybrushed highlights onto the clothing and horses, and did detail outlining with a pen.

A quick paint job on a 10 more stands of Tin Soldiery goodness, and call it one more army in the morphin' pile.
Hoplite stands #23-24 for the Red Group. This now allows a triple army of many Hoplite variations, or a quad Syracuse. 2 of the figs have their spears cut down into swords for an optional General's stand. 1 Sp stand in each group gets monochrome helmet crests for rapid recognition as the General. Psiloi stands #6-9, 3 for Blue Group and 1 for Red. This allows a triple Siciliot option: And Light Horse stands #6-9, 3 for Blue, 1 for Yellow. This allows a triple Italiot: Lots more options now for the Punic Wars big battle games ^,^ This is the last of these for the forseeable future. If I ever place another Tin Soldier order (or just come across the figures somewhere), then I'll pick up figs for 2-5 more hoplitish Auxilia stands for more options within some of the army lists.
