The opponent is destroyed or not?

I was going to read it as yes, still destroyed...

Because the sneaker are not the "main opponent"...

Correct interpretation?
Correct. Sneakers still apply tactical factors for overlaps or flank-contacts.

Not unless it's a general. Otherwise it just applies tactical factors.

(One of the proposed 'fixes' for Sneakers is to allow their flank contacts to be fatal to all elements - in other words make them like every other element type sin that respect. Given how much the current rule seems to confuse people that may not be a bad idea.)

Alan,
thanks I found the rule reference under recoiling.

So yes they apply the dice tactical factor for the overlap and the roll is the roll... so in my case above the spear would be destroyed.

However if the sneaker is on the flank it does not create a QK due to recoil unless it was a General that recoiled.

Yup confusing, but possibly due to the lack of a special section on Sneakers like they have on Lurkers...?
