Terence and I played a book IV battle last night and came across something interesting. It seems the best BUA defender is the Horde! A Blade with a 6-1 split doesn't even kill it: Blade gets 5 + 6 = 11. Horde gets 2 + 3 + 1 = 6. No doubling, and no quick Kill since Hd never recoil - that's what me & Terence concluded from the WADBAG Guide & v2.2 rules. (pls correct if we're wrong).

Apparently, the obnoxious Horde can "fart in your general direction" with impunity!

Jonathan.

p11: under "If its total is less than that of its opponent but more than half:"

... Hordes. Destroyed if in a BUA or Camp, or <other cases deleted.

In other words, Hordes are QK in a BUA. Sorry.

DK I'm impressed! You corrected my mistake within 8 minutes, quoting from the rulebook on a weekday at 11AM. Awesome! Guys like you make this community great.

Cheers,
Jonathan.

Once you have the rules tattooed on your chest, it is easy to make quick reference at any time.

Or, has WADBAG not let you in on their secret initiation ritual yet?

If you play 2.0, then the Hordes can hold a BUA. This was noticed pretty quick and fixed, without more problems being caused

Damn I knew that ritual was tough - heard you have to drink a case of beer, stand in a cold shower and recite war-wagon rules (painful!) but I had no idea tatooing was required. Makes perfect sense when you think about it...

Rules tattooed on the chest. Now that's an Idea. My girls asked what I wanted for fathers day and I told them a hat that says 'dba'. I think I'll go with the tattoo. -Paul

Tatooing the rules . . hmm. As you get older you can accomodate the revisions by adding more blank "space".

Either that or the print gets bigger so that you don't have to change your glasses.
Oh this could get so wrong, so fast...
