Hey, that's great you'll be coming up again. Nothing definite yet for DBA. Here are some of the ideas I'm considering:
1) "FREE TIBET! Or, Knights in High Places" --Armies & enemies of Tibet, including Burmese, Early/Late T'ang, Nan-Chao, Umayyad Arab, Sung, Hsi-Hsia.
2) "The Adventures of Marco Polo" --Asian armies of the 13th Century, e.g. Yuan Chinese, Early Samurai, Burmese... An excuse for me to build my 4-elephant, Kublai Khan Great Standard model.
3) "The Trojan War" --Hittites, Mycenaeans, Minoans...
4) "South Pacific" --The colorful armies of Indonesia & Sumatra vs. Polynesia, Hawaii...
5) "The Successors" --Choose any one of the Successor tyrants, Ptolemy, Demetrios... This one would need to be tourney.
"The Baltic Crusades" --Teutonics vs. Russians, Prussians, Scandanavians...
Any of these grab you? Love to play a HOTT tourney. Never played in one before. What scale? You might get lotsa newbies; only a few of us play it often here.
I will be coming to Enfilade again this year. Dan Henderson, another DBA gamer, is coming along. We will get there on Thursday and leave early on Monday morning. What is the DBA schedule looking like so far? Also, is there a HOTT tourney in 15mm? If not, then Dan and I were thinking about running one....and playing in it as well....can't resist.
