28mm Qin Chinese Finished!

Hey all,

Well, it took me three times as long as my average 15mm DBA army, but I am happy with the outcome and the time line. Three months isn't too much at all, and now I have another 28mm DBA army! I have some HotT elements to add to it, but it's ready for some historical action now!

It was fun to do, but I am putting down the 28mm CWS project (I have a Yueh army to do still) to pursue some 15mm DBA armies for an upcoming event here!

N, I agree with Frank, truly awesome! That army in 28 MM would only take me ... how many light years????? Beautiful as usual. Please tell me what color and brand paint you used for the skin as it a good representation.

Unfortunately, I use mostly mixed paint... But the basis for the mixes is Ral Partha/Iron Wind Metals Leather. That's the middle colour. The initial colour is 2 parts burnt umber to one part Leather, the second colour is 1:1 burnt umber to Leather, then next come leather, then finally a 2:1 Leather plus ivory for the final highlight. I hope that helps at least a little? :)
