Tim, VERY nice as usual. Also a favorite period of mine and I hope to get my armies painted up at some point.

Do I take it right that three elements equals a regiment? I have been wondering how to go about that, since the battles and armies were usually small in size. I am planning to use Light Infantry as Auxilia, and keep the Rangers and Indians as Jagers.

Looking forward to your report to their first action! Oh yeah, they are 28 MM right?

Cheers!

Yes 3 stands = one regiment or battalion. That's how I'm organizing them at least...

I'm pretty pumped about it myself. I may just have to try a solo game to try it out before next week.

Yes they are 25/28mm!

Hi Tim,

Lovely work :up

A favorite period of mine as well. I used a great set of draft rules based on DBX by our very own Terry37 and really enjoyed the game. If you're interested a writeup can be viewed here: http://leadbear.webs.com/fiwbattlereports.htm

Even my wife, who hasn't played for years looked interested and asked for a game :D

If you are interested in the SYW, then you should check out the DBM expansion called Make Ready! developed by a group I play with in Ontario. The rules and army lists can be found here: http://www.dbkgame.blogspot.com/

I just finished up another stand "for the French" - some Indian "auxilia"

(Those of a gentle disposition please avert your eyes!)
