Hi All -
I've been looking for something unique to build for HOTT and ran across this web site:
http://www.universalleonardo.org/
I probably won't start until later, but if you look under 'inventions', I'm thinking about doing the scythed chariot and/or some flying machines. Has anyone out there scratch built anything similar?
thanks - back to lurking....
Mike

Been thinking of doing the tank for a while. Call it an Arty for DBA or whatever the equivalent might be in HotT. Looks easy to build as well.

Gotta be Behemoth, man. You need to reserve Arty for Leonardo's rotating breech-loading organ-gun design.

I have played against a Leonardo HOTT army.
The tank was used as a behemoth.

I did mine years ago simply using a spare cannon and cardboard; Ral partha or Demonworld got similar tanks, but maybe OOP.

Thanks, Mike, I was actually looking for a site like that. Tom Graves runs a Victorian Sci-Fi game that I painted up a colonial Italians army for. I was going to use one of the Leonardo Inventions for some sort of war machine. Now, I've got pics -- thanks!

I've built these flyers for my ACW-VSF Union army and plan to do something similar when I get around to bulding my Leonardo DaVinci HoTT army.

These were made using the an Irregular Miniatures 6mm WW1 Taube Monoplane (GWP9) and Essex Miniature.
I also managed to pick up a couple of the old Rank and File Tortiose Tanks but had originally planned to build a tank like Filippo S model.

I put some Leonarado flyers in one of my LXG HOTT armies

Note the vicious Wolverine Beast in lower right. I was going to call it a Behemoth, but people just would not believe it.

It is a great topic but I do not know anyone manufacturing models of his work; I have tried asking around before to no effect. Much impressed by these home made options but I am not so talented.

Would you guys quit showing all of these cool pictures. I do NOT need to get caught up into trying to do another army. Those fliers of everyone's are just great looking. Flippo, cool tank too! My hat is off to you gentlemen! But give a guy a break .... please!
