2.1 was available on the Fanaticus site and may also be in the files of teh Yahoo group. It consisted of a listing by page and line of changes to the text. AFIK 2.2 has only been released as a printed book.

Has there already been talk of a version 2.3? I thought I had run into such a reference in the past few days.

No version 2.3 yet. With changes forthcoming to DBM and release of DBMM, you are starting to see discussion of what changes may flow into the next edition (2.3) of DBA, and what changes the DBA community would like to lobby for. Not all threads specifically reference a 2.3 edition, but it all fuels that great big cauldron of ideas and issues that will crystalize when Barker announces that he is starting to work on 2.3.

Got it. I haven't heard about DBMM; what is its focus?

DBMM is DBM on steroids.

It does have some interesting ideas but is however far too complex. (At least for my taste. ;) )

I wrote Phil and asked him to go in the opposite direction and find a middle ground between DBA and DBM. I'd encourage others to do the same.
