not-DDM Army: Beastmen of Chaos

Hi all,

Your Tuesday installment, punishment for the fact I had too much time over Thanksgiving and I took lots of pics of HOTT armies.

This one is my new Beastmen of Chaos army. Almost all the figures are GW Beastmen plastics. I didn't have to pay full price for these (for which my wallet is thankful), but they sure painted up nice. I painted them mostly about six months or a year ago, but they weren't based up until soon after Historicon, and have only been out fighting once (in the sadly-quite-small HotT tournament at Fall In).

This army is designed to be a matched pair for my Centaur army (Riders, Riders, and more Riders, with some Hoplite allies), which has been painted (more or less) for longer, but isn't based up yet, and I need to order two more Eureka minis Satyrs for the last point (a Lurker).

Another great effort, DK. They are very well done. Boiled with potatoes, the beasts will make an excellent stew to feed my Druchii. ;)

I thought your Druchii would be more into truffles and escargot? You know, sort of like Iron Chef French, or an effeminate version of Hannibal Lector?

Great stuff DK! your HOTT page is an inspiration! now i know waht to do with all those unused Warhammer figures! Love this minis hate the game. Also I wanted to say how much I liked your Warmachines army the Lord of Blades would be pleased! (if your down with Ebberon that is)

That all sounds appetizing but sometimes you just get a craving for a McMinotaur Happy Meal. :D
