View Full Version : The boardgame "Hannibal: Rome vs Carthage" as a DBA campaign?
I was wondering if anyone has tried this. Its a really great two player game recreating the 2nd Punic War. Armies in it normally consist of up to 10 strenght points that might translate into 1 or 2 DBA elements each.

I haven't. But I was actually wondering how Kingmaker might translate. You could write on the cards what each military unit translated into on the DBA table.
I also thought Divine Right would work well for battles in Hordes of the Things. You would have to make allowances for allied armies joining the battle.
To do any of these things, you would need an after battle results rules. In other words, the loser should suffer rout and pursuit losses.

Thanks for the link. I received Hannibal, Rome vs. Carthage for Christmas and I am looking forward to dusting off my Polybian Romans and Later Carthaginains. Mike Saunders is visiting for a few days over New Years and hopefully we can give it a try.
