I just started playing DBA again after a 5 year hiatus, so accept my apologies for the basic level of this question. I searched in the faq, through all relevant prior posts, and the rules but I couldn't find the answer.
In trying to decipher the rules for recoiling through friendly troops, there is a list of "this element type can pass through that element type". That is understood, but each example was for elements passing through differing types of troops. My question is simply, what about same troop types? Are they assumed to be able to pass through a similar troop type?
My specific example is this: when fighting against pikes that are supporting each other (or not supporting, simply having two "ranks" of pike bases for example), what do you do if the pike lose, but are not QK? Do they recoil through their same type friends, or should the recoiling pike unit be destroyed? If you can reference the page # of the rules that this is on I would appreciate it.
