The SHADBAGERs (SHenandoah Area DBA Gamers) will be hosting a DBA game day at a new gaming store in Winchester, VA call "Mind Games (http://www.mind-games-llc.com/)" on June 21. Gaming/demos start at noon and run to 5pm, after which I plan to run a monster BBDBA game for any interested.

Terrain and armies provided, but you're welcome to bring your own. Any WADBAGers who want to come out and help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like fun. I'll check with my time-management professional.

Hello,

Don't count out the mighty members of WVADBAG! Namely Mike O'Neill & I. I'll definately get with Mike and see about making it. Take care.

Most Excellent! Looking forward to seeing you there!

So this is running noon to five? Any preferences as to what I should bring? I've got about 40% of the non-obscure armies in the book away from Asia, plus a dozen or so Asian armies.

Well,

From the best laid plans always go awry dept. Found out this week that a very dear friend of mine will be in the area from overseas so, that means I will not be there tomorrow. If it should come up again, would be very interested though. Take care.

All,
Well not a rousing turnout, but fun nonetheless. :) David Kujit made it down for the inaugural Winchester DBA game day at Mind Games. We ran a couple of demos and played each other for a couple of games (fyi, we split it 1 each :2up ).

The store owner definitely wants us back so we will try to get some more "settled" days to run games (and get them some info on where to get rules, figs, etc.) :cool

Anyway, see you next time.

Alan

Hi
I am new to the area (I live in Martinsburg, WV in the WV panhandle) and was interested in knowing if you were planning to repeat the DBA event this post discussed.
If not, do you have any sort of semi-fixed gaming days? I am looking to get started in DBA and was trying to see if there are some folks near where I am that I might be able to see a game or two.
Thanks
Scott

Scott,

A group of us meet every Saturday at Your Hobby Place every Sat. and play. You can get directions from here http://www.yourhobbyplace.com/ (http://www.yourhobbyplace.com/).

Unfortunately, our group will not be playing this Sat. because of Cold Wars.

Stop in any Sat. for a game or two.
