Recoiling and Destruction

This should be easier than my last ?? I hope. I need some confirmation or correction about the following:

1. Is an element in a BUA that is forced to recoil, for what ever reason destroyed?

2. Is a recoiling element with just a part of an enemy element's front edge contacting its flank or rear destroyed ?

I hope yes! my logic is:
for 1. DBA page 11 paragraph 5 line 3 “A recoiling element……” "... or that is in a BUA or camp, is destroyed"

and for 2. same reference "..starting with enemy in any front edge contact with its flank or rear"

I hope I am slowly understanding the rules.
Just a point, the referred sentence is 90 words long. Would not a bulleted list of circumstances and consequences be clearer ?
