Looking for figures for a Polybian Roman army, I came across the quartermasters website (www.thequartermaster.com) who offers a range of Falcon Figures (U.K.) romans. From the photos the figures look good, but there's no information about variety among a certain figure type.
Does anybody know these roman figures ? What about their compatibility figures from other producers (corvus belli i.e.)?
Maerk,
I don't have any of the Falcon Romans, but I do have some of their Renaissance figures. Concerning compatibility, Falcon tends to be slightly taller than average, but not extremely so; also they seem little slimmer than some others. Falcon Figures only have one pose per code, as far as I know.

I have some of the Republican Romans... The comments below about their being slightly taller and slimmer than others is correct.
I would not mix them with Corvus Belli personally. The sculpting on the Falcon figures is not up to the same standards as CB.
They do look OK when finished, but I prefer some of the other Polybian Romans to the Flacon figures. I will be selling the Falcon figures that I have on eBay shortly. I only got them to serve as Latin and Italian allies until I could afford to replace them with Mirliton Early Romans, which make pretty good Italians)...
Also, there were three or four figure "poses". They are all posed in a more or less similar fashion, but some of their heads were turned a different direction, and some had their weapon arm slightly changed in position.

I forgot... Xyston will have their Romans out shortly... If I was looking for Romans (Polybian or Camillan) I would wait for Allistair to get these out.
I am going to be replacing the "Romans" that I currently have with Xyston figures as soon as they come out.
