28mm Romans

Hi,

A friend of mine wants to buy a painted Early Imperial Roman army for show purposes...I've recommended 28mm...so my question is...which manufacturer makes the best 28mm Romans??

There are a lot of great lines out there now for this army, and it is a matter of opinion but you just can not go wrong with the Foundry figures IMHO they are consistantly top notch and the figures within a range are sculpted by the same sculptor so very consistant in size & quality. They make nice Pilum too. Personally I am not fond of R*m*ns but their EIR are one of the better ranges they carry and that is saying a lot.
