Guys
I've got a couple of 28mm Armies for sale on ebay:
Item number: 220092153122
Item number: 220092156739
here is a link to one of them, (but the Item Numbers are listed above anyway):

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220092156739&ssPageName=AD\
ME:B:SS:AU:1

Both are DBA Polybian Roman Armies.
I'm not getting out of 28mm DBA, just diversifying.
How many Roman Armies does a guy need?
Cheers
Scott

one of each period?? Cam., Polyb., Marian, Early Imp., Mid. Imp., ....... can neither have too many romans nor too large of an army :) Looks to me as if you are selling one army that you've split . :)

My wife doesn't play DBA ...... if she did, I'd be in trouble, all of my supposedly DBA-armies are anywhere from 1.5 to triple DBA-size ..... more elements make nicer displays and if you drop an element just before a game, replacements are on hand. (I've told her the actual size of a DBA army before, but when I start talking about DBA, she sort of stops listening)

Also depends on the maker. My Marian Romans are Essex, so the Thracian foot and LH are Essex. My Alexander/Successor are Minifigs, so the Thracians for that army are from Minifigs (for Lysimachid)......... so a bit more elements than that needed for a Thracian army.

be well

Correct!
I agree that:

..... more elements make nicer displays...

Actually I only build BIG BATTLE DBA (BBDBA) armies, and these guys for sale are actually SURPLUS! Even after selling these guys I'll still have a BBDBA size Polyiban Roman Army, in addition to Marian, and Middle, Late and Patrician Roman BBDBA Armies in 28mm and 15mm scales! In 28mm scale I stick with either Old Glory, (my perfered option as they are real value for money with the 40% off OLD GLORY ARMY Card), or Foundry / Gripping Beast, (expensive but very nice).
For BBDBA I also have Successors, Hoplite Greeks, Thracians, Gauls, Ancient Germans, Summarian, Trojans Wars (Greeks and Troy), and NKE in 28mm. In 15mm I have AS ABOVE, (less the Summarian and Trojan War Stuff), as well as EAP and LAP, Early Byzantine, Philastine, Sea People and Misc Arabs.
In 15mm scale I like Xyston, AB, Museum Miniatures, Essex and Corvus Belli.

Cheers
