Does anyone know of a US distributor of AB Miniatures? I need only a couple more elements of Marian blade to make a BBDBA ally for my existing army, but can only find the minis with Eureka, which is out of Australia. They have a nice site and all, but it costs as much to send the figs as buy them, which basically puts the price over a dollar a fig, which is too much for me(works out as $20.00 for 16 figs plus shipping). Can anyone help?

I've got a bag of AB Minis Romans that I never got around to using. Any reasonable offer and you can have the whole bag. How many do you need?

Eureka now has a US operation, they may have the minis you want. Their website is:

Miros-Thanks for the link! Unfortunately, they appear to be out of stock...

DK, I'll take you up on the offer, let me go home and do an actual count. But I'll probably just buy the whole bag off of you. Do you remember how many were in the bag?

I'll go count. But I think it was nearly a whole DBA army -- I can't remember if I intended to do Marians with them (in which case, a complete army) or to do EIR with them (in which case, the Bd and Cav elements of an army -- 2/3 of an army)

Sounds like the same thing I initially purchased...more than what I need; however, I could always go with 3 Roman commands...my defeats will look even more spectacular! Besides, it's probably not worth your effort to break up the lot.

I'll send you a pm regarding the transaction after I get home. In the meantime, start thinking about how much they are worth to you.:)

52 foot including command and centurions; 6 mounted including a commander. One of the horse is on a nail and 90% painted (everything but his shield pattern), all the rest are completely unpainted and unprimed.

Salutations, gentlefolk,

Unfortunately the Eureka US website choked both MS I-Explorer and Opera. Saved the page as HTML only - about 300K of code. Have asked my friends who teach that stuf whether 'tis 'brilliant' or 'Horrible Example'.

Mayhaps their web designer might be profitably reminded 'KISS'

My humble but grouchy opinin on a morning of nasty cold driving rain.

Yours, John Desmond
