Hi all,

I've been going through some DBA 1.0 armies I have, comparing them against the 2.2 lists and noticing some gaps. I'm hoping someone in the group might have extras to fill in those gaps. I'd be happy to trade for them, or buy them from you.

I'm looking for:

Alexandrian Macedonians:
1 x Art and/or crew

Later Achaemenied Persians:
4 x Auxilia
1 x Light Chariot
1 x Scythed Chariot

Early Achaemenid Persians:
1 x Light Chariot (General)
2 x Psiloi
6 x Auxilia
7 x Horde
8 x Bow
16 x Sparabara spearmen w/spara

Skythians:
3 x Auxilia
4 x Psiloi
3 x Cavalry (General)
2 x Light Horse (General)
7 x Horde
3 x Knights (General)

Later Hoplite Greek (Theban):
6 x Cavalry

In trade I can offer figures all sorts of different figures from the Classical (Greek and Persian types, mostly), Hellenistic (Macedonian, Later Greek, Successor mostly), and Medieval periods, as well as a smattering of Gauls. There are all sorts of other figures in small numbers in the collection too, from many western or near eastern armies. Please let me know if you're looking for something in particular.

I'd prefer figures that mix well with Essex, and/or Chariot.

Thanks very much,

Will

Will, you might want to specify if you are looking only for painted or unpainted figures, or if either will do.

And, yes, "I feel your pain". All of us who had good collections of DBA armies from the original lists had quite a bit of re-tooling to do with the later lists. It was worth it, though, as older armies got fun, new bit added to them.

Hi Paul,

Excellent point. I'm looking for unpainted figures, and have unpainted to trade. I do have a few painted medievals I could trade too.

Thanks,

Will

I can probably help you out with most of the mini's you are looking for. I will have a look in my old-stock of unpainted chariot-miniatures and will mail you a list of the mini's i still have available.

Cheers,

Anton
