A friend and I are playing DBA with these campaign rules practically to the exclusion of all else. We find that there are some ambiguities to the rules and would like some clarification, however, no answer was forthcoming from the email address my buddy sent an inquiry to. That being said, I would like to see who else out there has played these rules and what is thought about them. As for myself, I lose repeatedly but nonetheless find them very compelling.

Did you post your question to the "Rules Questions" section here?
Are these questions about the Campaign system or the general rules?
If all else fails try

Bob,
Thanks for noticing and responding. In this case I am merely concerned about the campaign system rules only, not DBA rules. I was looking for others who have played it and wanted to solict some opinions.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim Hi Jim - I've played a couple of games with these rules, as a trial, as I painted up the minimum 55 WotR elements as a Xmas present for my father and wanted to know whether it was a workable system or not..... nothing to do with wanting to show off my lead at the local club, obviously! :D
What are the opinions you are after soliciting??

Well, I was looking to see who else had played and had faced some of the same problems we had. I think the biggest one that comes to mind is that when the Crown cards are attacked, those elements sit out. I suppose that arguments can be made either way, but it seems to me that when the throne is on the line, the contestants should be on the filed.
I really should start keeping notes...

Yes, I didn't interprete it that way - although it is at risk, it can still be fielded - 'each player then chooses three cards from their hand to field...' which took to mean that you could field any of your four (or more, in the later rounds) cards.
