As promised, we "flashed" our second battle. This time my opponent took a loaded USB stick home and did the all the work. Enjoy:
Tuareg vs. Numidians (2MB) (http://www.ludo-ergo-sum.de/bilder/dba_movie/dba_movie1.swf)
The movie is done with two pictures per bound (I hope smile.gif ), one after movement, one after combat. And it contains some captions.

Brilliant! This is outstanding, and you can realy follow the game in progress.
But what on earth were the Numidians doing attacking Camels with LH, and blocking their own recoils with an elephant?

I had one (1) 2Cm Element on that flank, I think my opponent hoped to be lucky and to outflank my line of 3Cm while attaking with the El frontaly.
Only it didn't work - actualy his LH lasted a lot longer than I thought they would.
He did not want to get his Aux into close combat with the camels - well, he migth have gotten overlapped and crushed somewhere in these dunes. Or maybe I would have looted his nice desert fort. ;)

Just wanted to add that it was a very exciting way to present a battle, using .swf. Great idea!!

Wow four LH give up their flank and the Tuareg player didn't take it?
A couple Cm to tie up the general and the Jumbo and crash down on that inside LH flank and it's a much different game.
Nice Job.
Bob has been talking about doing a demo game this way to use to teach newbies how to play.
Next step is to show the dice rolls and commentry.

It looks really good. The image is clear and the pace is slow enough that you can see what is happening.
Not sure about that charging LH strategy, but hey, I never leave video evidence of my stupid moves around -- much less post them on the Internet.
This is "OUTSTANDING". Loved it. This is the future of the game reports! Move-Pic. I may try this myself. :D

Just remember that about half of all Internet users don't have high speed connections. Let's not walk away from text all the way.
But this is cool.
