Fanaticus will be down tonight (3/8) from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight (ET) as the webhost's server travels from Urbana to its new home in Frederick, Maryland.
The good news is that we will be restored to a hard wired connection to the Internet, which will improve performance (you may have noticed our performance the last two weeks on a wireless connection has been somewhat sluggish and affected by local Washington weather).
The bad news is that our site will be assigned a new IP address, which means that even though Fanaticus will be live again after about two hours, a few of you who use Internet services who don't refresh their routing directories frequently may not be able to find it for an additional time period of a couple hours to possibly even a couple days. I'm afraid there is nothing we can do at our end to prevent that, but I at least wanted you to have advance warning of the interruption.
