NASAMW Florida State Championship (NICT Qualifier)

I still haven't settled on exactly what to call this event but it will be:

</font> Run at HMGS Souths RECON convention (www.hmgssouth.org)</font> April 26th, 2003</font> In Tampa Florida</font> NASAMW Deep South region's NICT Qualifier for Historicon</font> Open to both members and non members.</font> "Open" format i.e. bring any 15mm army.</font> Use the NICT format</font> Not use BUA's as written!</font> And most importantly...alot of fun for all!</font>

Just to refresh this thread:

Wargames Inc is sponsoring my Championship event.

In addition to a nice trophy you can win a $25 gift certificate from Wargames!
The runner up gets a trophy and a $15 gift certificate.

And while I have your attention and under the 'It never hurts to ask' category I am looking for sponsors for my other events at Recon.

One event features a pair of armies from each of the DBA 'books.'

Players will rotate between armies and opponents.

Their final score determined by their results with each army they used in comparison to the results of the players using the same army.

(Bob McDonald keeps telling me he has a program for all this but keeps forgetting to send it to me! tongue.gif )

No one player is the actual winner however.

The idea is to use the NBA draft format and raffle several small prizes.
The better you do, the more chances you have to win.
However even the player without a single victory will have a chance to win a prize!

So I'm asking for your support!

A DBAOL Disk and one month membership?
A $5 gift certificate?
A small sample pack of figures?

Like I said before, it never hurts to ask.

The Bruce clan will be at RECON next week. We look forward to adding bulk, if not skill, to what will become the premere DBA tournament in the US tongue.gif

I will be there early Saturday and will have PM Samurai, French Ordinance (b), Early Vietcong (d), M. Byz, and perhaps E hoplites, Tupi, and some chinese monstrosity just so we have enough armies when all the Nappy players get bored ;)
