I was just wondering what the scope of the line edits might be?
Will it be the bare minimum to incorporate the hitherto presented changes described by the playsheet?
Or will it go further and try to clean up other matters of interpretation in the way that the unofficial guide has?
Just wondering...

Bare minimum.
Purifying (making cleaner and more understandable) the basic text of the 2.2 rules would require a complete rewrite. And make the line edits much much longer.
A couple of minimal interp fixes might be in there, depending upon your definition, but the line edits are most definitely not an attempt to make Phil's language readable. That would require something like the unofficial guide, not a simple list of line edits.
